We are currently seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our facility, where you will report directly to the Plant Manager. This position offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.

Position Overview:

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.

The starting hourly wage is competitive and includes a shift differential. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operations with an emphasis on quality control.
  • Utilize power tools and manufacturing machinery effectively.
  • Accurately interpret measurements using a tape measure.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain composure under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in plastics, is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in measurement systems and basic mathematics.
  • Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.

Work Environment:

This role involves frequent mobility, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring high levels of sensory awareness and attention to detail.
