Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Tampa General Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT) scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective utilization of imaging equipment
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and imaging results
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technologist
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
  • ARRT(R) certification and BLS certification required
  • ARRT(CT) certification preferred
