Position Overview:


As a Labor Compliance Analyst at Stardom Employment Consultants, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our construction initiatives comply with all relevant federal, state, and local labor regulations.

Your role will be pivotal in overseeing adherence to wage and hour laws, employment standards, and safety protocols, ensuring that our workforce and subcontractors meet industry benchmarks and legal obligations.


Core Responsibilities:

Regulatory Oversight:

Supervise and evaluate construction projects to guarantee compliance with applicable labor regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety protocols, and employment standards.


Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain precise documentation of all labor-related activities, such as timekeeping, payroll, and certification requirements. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.

Subcontractor Oversight:
Ensure that subcontractors adhere to all labor regulations and company policies. Review subcontractor agreements for compliance stipulations.

Training Development:
Create and implement training sessions for employees and subcontractors regarding labor compliance, safety protocols, and company policies.

Compliance Audits:
Conduct routine audits and site evaluations to identify and rectify any compliance issues. Collaborate with project managers to enforce corrective measures when needed.

Conflict Resolution:

Assist in the resolution of labor disputes and grievances, ensuring that all matters are addressed in accordance with legal and company standards.


Regulatory Awareness:
Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations. Communicate updates to management and ensure proactive compliance efforts within the organization.

Collaborative Efforts:

Work in close partnership with HR, legal, and project management teams to advance labor compliance initiatives and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.


Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in labor compliance, human resources, or a related field, ideally within the construction sector.

Knowledge:
A robust understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws, particularly those pertinent to the construction industry.

Skills:
Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work autonomously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software is essential.

Certifications:
Certification as a Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar credentials is advantageous.
