- Work closely with senior management officials to implement and evaluate policies, plans, and internal operational systems.
- Address specific problem areas and apply analytical ability and specialized healthcare knowledge to manage healthcare delivery systems.
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in a related field, such as hospital administration, public health administration, or business administration.
- Progressively responsible analytical or administrative experience in the healthcare field, with a focus on healthcare delivery systems and operations.
- Expert knowledge of healthcare policies, processes, and procedures, as well as quality improvement programs and accrediting bodies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and direct team work.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to prepare and present briefings and reports.
The work is primarily sedentary, with some walking, bending, and carrying of light items required. Some travel between the medical center and CBOCs may be necessary.
