Rental Car Operations Specialist

Job Summary

The Rental Car Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles within and between rental locations. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles within and/or between rental locations, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs.
  • Report any incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills in driving Large Passenger Vehicles (SUVs, vans, pickups, etc.).
  • Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure vehicles are in proper operating condition and comply with safety standards.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service is preferred.
