Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to review, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Evaluate Patient Health Status: Assess patients' health risks and provide feedback to motivate behavior change and reduce health risks.
- Perform Health Screenings: Conduct health screenings and make referrals as necessary to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Implement Interventions: Perform interventions based on identified priorities, patient care plans, and clinic policies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide Education: Initiate and evaluate patient and family education to promote health and wellness.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately document patients' responses to nursing and other interventions.
- Monitor Environment and Equipment: Ensure a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment by monitoring equipment and supplies.
- Current LPN License: Possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state where you will be practicing.
- Experience: One year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting is preferred.
- Professional Standards: Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Competency Program: Participate and complete Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
- CPR Certification: Possess current CPR certification if applicable.
- Health Certificate: Meet all federal, state, and local health requirements.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills and the ability to effectively elicit and provide information to and from appropriate individuals.
- Computer Proficiency: Demonstrate computer proficiency.
