Job Description

Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary:

Nakupuna Consulting & Sales, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support our team in providing exceptional material management services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and drafting recommended supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to support our clients' operations.
  • Review and analyze material management facility and space requirements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform research on various topics associated with material management and supply chain operations.
  • Draft technical instructions, standard operating procedures, memorandums, desk guides, and process maps to support supply chain operations.
  • Assist in codifying processes and transferring tribal knowledge to ensure best practices are implemented.
  • Evaluate and develop training curriculum, materials, and instruction on material management and supply chain operations.
  • Help resolve difficult material issues through coordination with stakeholders and develop measurements and metrics to track progress.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and monitor progress toward meeting the plan, identifying causes and impacts of delays, and adjusting plans and schedules accordingly.
  • Keep Nakupuna Leadership abreast of project execution and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Navy supply/material management operations in a public Shipyard environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment while remaining flexible to client requirements.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • BS or BA degree in Business Management or related degree preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 10 years of related experience with supply operations, preferably within a public shipyard.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use stairs without assistance.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
