Job Summary

As a Warehouse Lead at Snelling Staffing Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. You will work closely with the Export/Import Manager to promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Your duties will include managing inventory, conducting audits, and reviewing reports to identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for training and supervising warehouse staff, as well as communicating regularly with all warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
  • Work closely with the Export/Import Manager to promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Manage inventory, conduct audits, and review reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff.
  • Communicate regularly with all warehouse personnel.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Trained and Certified in HAZMAT.
  • Understanding of TSA, U.S. Customs regulations, and Forklift Certification.
  • Minimum 5 years warehouse experience.
  • Three to five years of supervisory warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work shifts of at least 10 hours, and occasionally longer, 5 days per week.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in cold/hot environment.
