Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced neurophysiologist/IONM technologist to join our team at The Phoenix. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for monitoring the central nervous system during surgery, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare for intraoperative procedures, determining the structures at risk and adjusting monitoring plans as needed.
  • Position monitoring equipment in the operating room, ensuring patient electrical safety and communicating with team members.
  • Monitor neurophysiologic central/peripheral functioning throughout the operative procedure, recognizing clinically significant events and following facility policy and procedures.
  • Document findings, results, and descriptive analyses, and provide reports to interpreting personnel.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be a certified neurophysiologist/IONM technologist or eligible for certification.
  • Experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring and neurophysiology is required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
