Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating goals, executing company programs, and adhering to policies.
  • Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, product specifications, and seasonality of product to ensure the Bakery department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation, and compliance.
  • Tech Savvy: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Business Ownership: Drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, maintaining a neat, clean, and safe work area, and ensuring appropriate planning and staffing for weekly bakery volumes.
  • Talent Ambassador: Teach and train the team by identifying training needs, providing and developing necessary skills, and encouraging career growth for team members.
  • Process Development: Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Compliance: Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, and coordinating and executing work assignments.

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications: 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications: Bakery production experience, including decorating and supervising associates, as well as Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.
