Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Travel to various client locations as required.
  • Support senior HVAC technicians in their tasks.
  • Manage inventory of parts, materials, and labor for each project.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Identify and report unsafe working conditions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations based on business needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of the refrigerant cycle, key components, and standard maintenance practices.
  • Ability to recognize different HVAC equipment types, including packaged splits, WSHP, chillers, towers, and pumps.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting basic electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with air distribution systems and their functionality.
  • Competence in using hand tools effectively.
  • Commitment to following safe work practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
  • Capability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational manuals, and written instructions.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Mathematical skills for basic calculations in various units of measure.
  • Reliability in punctuality and adherence to uniform standards.
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug testing.
  • Physical ability to perform frequent lifting, standing, walking, and other physical tasks.
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions.
