Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Accountant will be tasked with implementing standard accounting practices to ensure precise and timely financial reporting. This role involves analyzing financial data and generating accurate financial statements and reports for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and validate the monthly closing process to guarantee accurate financial records and completion of all closing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, schedules, and reports for internal use and audits.
  • Generate monthly inventory reports for management and headquarters.
  • Manage fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, providing detailed monthly reports by business unit.
  • Support the preparation of financial and tax audits, as well as quarterly reviews by both internal and external auditors.
  • Foster productive relationships with key stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Guide and support the accounting team while monitoring operational expenditures.
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including sales and local taxes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and fulfill requests as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS. Proven experience in managing comprehensive accounting functions, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and reconciliations. Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software, particularly Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. The ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with a focus on customer service is crucial. Candidates should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision to achieve objectives.

Additional qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
  • CPA designation is a plus.
