Role Responsibilities:
The Multi-Site WHS Manager will oversee WHS initiatives across various locations within the designated region, ensuring adherence to safety policies and compliance with all relevant local and regional regulations.

Utilizing lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies, you will lead initiatives aimed at minimizing conditional and ergonomic risks within our operations, thereby fostering a safe and healthy workplace for our associates.

A successful candidate will have the capability to establish trust and rapport with operational teams, driving change through comprehensive risk assessments and detailed safety data analysis.

Key Duties Include:
- Possessing a deep understanding of local and regional regulations alongside company policies.
- Providing guidance and oversight to guarantee compliance with all applicable Amazon WHS policies.
- Evaluating site performance against established WHS policy requirements and formulating action plans to address any deficiencies.
- Delivering timely and high-quality projects to operational teams.

- Analyzing WHS metrics and reviewing incident trends to allocate resources effectively to areas with heightened safety risks.
- Conducting regular site safety audits to identify non-compliance issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks and prevent injuries.
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping practices align with global safety standards and local regulations.

- Engaging with delivery teams to gather feedback on safety program enhancements and maintaining open communication regarding progress on these suggestions.
- Ensuring that site leadership and associates are well-informed of their responsibilities under each policy and auditing the effectiveness of safety training.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50-70% of the time is essential, along with flexibility regarding shifts.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in WHS and/or environmental programs within manufacturing, production, or service operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a comfort level in engaging with site leaders.
- Proven ability to develop and implement departmental goals and strategies, along with strong analytical skills for problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment with a diverse workforce of at least 250 employees is preferred.
- A Master's degree and certification as a Safety Professional are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the use of pivot tables and the creation of charts and graphics.
