We are currently seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer who excels in technical prowess and inspires and leads by example. This individual will design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware based on product and hardware specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical resource to both the team and management.
  • Collaborative Influence: Work closely with product managers, hardware engineers, and software developers to complete project objectives on schedule.
  • Team Oriented: Interact with the firmware team and department in a constructive and respectful manner.
  • Product Focused: Support development, verification, validation, and integration efforts from product definition to launch.
  • Self-Driven Execution: Take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, and drive for results.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Tackle complex challenges head-on, finding creative solutions.
  • Mentorship: Foster the growth of fellow engineers and instill a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Quality Advocate: Ensure robustness, reliability, and security of firmware code.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience with firmware development, working with microcontrollers, embedded systems, RTOS, etc.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testing.
  • Proficient in C/C++.
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and working towards a common goal.
  • Familiar with source code management.
  • Experience with Python and scripting languages is a plus.
