Senior Reinsurance Claims Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reinsurance Claims Professional to join our team at AXA XL. As a key member of our Claims department, you will be responsible for handling complex reinsurance claims, primarily in the Professional Lines and General Liability lines of business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assumed reinsurance claims, including treaty and facultative claims, to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Review reinsurance contracts and claims to verify coverage, evaluate exposure, and authorize claim payments.
- Conduct claim audits, including direct interaction with brokers and clients, to assess claim files and operations.
- Communicate results of claim audits to internal stakeholders, including written reports.
- Collaborate with Underwriters, Actuaries, and Senior Management to provide exceptional customer service.
- Identify and analyze claim trends, and work with Regional Claims Departments to provide insights and recommendations.
- Extensive experience in handling complex, high-value casualty claims, with emphasis on General Casualty and/or Multiple Professional Liability lines.
- Excellent comprehension of claims best practices, case analysis, and large loss reporting.
- Close attention to financial detail, robust analytical and writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A willingness to learn and improve technical skills, with a flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time.
