Responsibilities:- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) as per the client's Plan of Care.
- Establish a strong relationship with clients and their families, built on trust and confidentiality.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Provide support with household tasks, personal care, paperwork, and meal preparation.
- Assist with therapy exercises as directed by the client's healthcare plan.
- Monitor and support clients' healthcare needs, including medication reminders.
- Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible.
- Engage clients in activities to promote mental alertness.
- Document client activities, mood, challenges, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Report any changes in client status or home situation to the immediate supervisor.
- Attend in-service training as required by state and federal regulations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior-related care setting.
- Current certification.
- Criminal background check and other required checks.
- Verifiable references and maintenance of certifications, training, and company/state regulation requirements.
- Reliable transportation to client visits.
- Paid sick leave.
- Weekly pay.
