Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements, working closely with partners and clients to determine objectives and coordinate resources.
  • Develop engagement budgets, manage performance, and ensure client and firm objectives are met.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to identify and mitigate engagement risks.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of other tax personnel.
  • Address complex tax and accounting issues, review tax deliverables, and ensure timely client communications.
  • Collaborate with engagement partners to resolve client service, tax, or accounting problems.
  • Lead a team providing tax and consulting services to flow-through entities and their owners.
  • Minimize tax costs and mitigate individual tax liabilities for employers and international employees.
  • Develop and enhance a collaborative team environment.

  • Manage a network of decision makers and outside relationships to foster business development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum years of experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop tax staff.
  • Experience preparing complex federal corporate, multi-state, individual, and partnership returns.
  • Basic knowledge of financial services products.
  • Strong understanding of IRS practice and procedure.
  • Ability to review complex tax planning projects and identify additional planning opportunities.
