The Client Relations Specialist (CRS) is responsible for a variety of essential functions, including but not limited to:

- Interpreting architectural plans or demonstrating a willingness to learn.
- Exhibiting fundamental understanding of products and pricing structures.
- Proactively addressing customer inquiries and following up as necessary.
- Resolving order discrepancies and facilitating communication between departments for effective resolution.
- Collaborating with Sales Representatives on customer-related matters.
- Monitoring the status of assigned customer open order reports.
- Assessing job urgency and priorities to meet customer needs, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Utilizing problem-solving skills to suggest improvements in workflows and procedures.
- Demonstrating computer proficiency for accurate and efficient data entry.
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Working closely with fabrication supervisors and other internal teams to provide precise instructions for custom fabrication of aluminum extrusions.
- Assisting with additional related tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities include:
- Effectively interacting with other service centers and manufacturing facilities.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Ensuring that orders adhere to internal schedules to maintain timely delivery to customers.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Actively promoting safety for oneself and others in the workplace, including holding customers and contractors accountable for safety standards.
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required upon hire.
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction or architectural sector.
- Knowledge of the construction industry or aluminum architectural systems, including familiarity with competitors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel; experience with KaluCAD and JD Edwards is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with customers and sales teams to develop successful order strategies.
- Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Aptitude for working under tight deadlines.
