Salary & Benefits

The successful applicant for the Commercial Construction Project Engineer position can expect a competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000+, as well as bonus potential of $5-$15K. Job Description
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of construction, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Write, submit, and distribute RFI's, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Review and understand subcontract documents, applying them to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Notify management of significant project events, successes, issues, injuries, client relations, potential losses/claims.
  • Work closely with clients to provide updates, obtain approvals, and complete change orders for scope of work revisions.
  • Document changes, maintain project records, redline transfers, and correspondence.
  • Ensure all work is done in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor project costs to stay within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working on commercial construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Ability to manage administrative construction duties, including document control.
  • Preparation of submittal schedules for approval and distribution.
  • Assistance with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations.
  • Participation in preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification.
  • Collection and logging of closeout documents and punch lists.
