The Front Desk Associate is a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests at Pet Paradise Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to our pet parents and their furry friends, handling guest service transactions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check-in guests, ensuring a positive first impression of our resort
- Process check-ins and check-outs, coordinating suite placement and ensuring guest needs are met
- Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, and manage emails in a timely and professional manner
- Complete cashier and point of sale operations, communicating with staff and leadership as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness of the entranceway and lobby, including restrooms
- Offer upgrades and sell additional services based on guest preferences
- Liaise with the veterinary service team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing situations
- Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to learn and work with a variety of animal breeds and sizes
