Role Overview:

The Microsoft Power Platform Architect plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and deployment of comprehensive solutions. This position ensures that the technical solutions align with business requirements both now and in the future. Although the architect may not directly execute deployments, they hold ultimate responsibility for the solution and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams. A deep understanding of how decisions impact the overall solution is essential.

Key Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the Dynamics 365 customer applications ecosystem and the Microsoft Power Platform, along with extensive experience in the finance sector. The ideal candidate will facilitate solution design decisions across various domains, including development, configuration, integration, infrastructure, security, licensing, availability, storage, and change management. This role requires balancing business needs with functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business users to comprehend requirements and provide technical insights on potential Power Platform solutions.
  • Conduct solution envisioning and requirement analysis to develop concepts for proposed technical solutions.
  • Review designs to ensure alignment with best practices for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
  • Understand current application architectures and desired outcomes to generate innovative solution ideas.
  • Maintain awareness of pre-built patterns and integrations that can enhance proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to the vision and development of proof of concepts or demonstrations.
  • Effectively communicate technical topics in a business-focused manner to all organizational levels.
  • Gather requirements and define project objectives, customizing and configuring bots to meet specific needs.
  • Integrate chatbots with third-party applications and systems through APIs.
  • Implement natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms to improve bot functionalities.
  • Test and debug chatbots to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Monitor and maintain deployed chatbots, addressing issues and performing updates as necessary.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in conversational AI to enhance existing solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
  • Document design specifications, development processes, and deployment procedures.
