Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Senior Employment Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Amity Employment Services Projects, ensuring effective oversight of faculty and community engagement while focusing on strategic objectives and outcomes. This role includes direct supervision of Employment Services Faculty and additional team members involved in Employment grants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the supervision of program faculty and staff positions, stepping in as needed to fulfill any faculty duties.
  • Ensure adherence to employment services funding regulations and compliance with administrative and fiscal guidelines as per contractual agreements.
  • Monitor operational expenditures to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain communication with senior management regarding program developments, risks, and successes.
  • Coordinate all administrative functions of the project, including the development of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with partners that define roles and protocols, while managing daily interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Aggregate and analyze data for comprehensive reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to faculty, facilitating professional development and growth.
  • Develop quality control measures to guarantee high standards of service and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in addressing programmatic and personnel challenges as they arise.
  • Supervise faculty activities related to intake, assessment, training, job search initiatives, and workshops.
  • Engage in staff meetings to foster a collaborative and effective team environment.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all necessary reports.
  • Ensure program operations comply with Amity policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Manage the daily operations and quality of care provided to students, ensuring alignment with contemporary therapeutic community practices and standards.
  • Attend community-building events and participate in meetings with funders relevant to Employment Services.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related field, with two years of experience working with criminal justice populations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with four years of supervisory experience.

Certifications:

Required:

  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within six weeks of hire, along with passing a physical examination and tuberculosis test.
  • Possess a valid California driver's license and meet eligibility for vehicle insurance.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
  • Exhibit empathy and understand the significance of role-reversal.
  • Demonstrate patience, active listening, and interest in diverse life experiences.

Physical and Mental Demands:
