About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the facility management of our newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and generic processes to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Create work orders, schedules, and dispatch technicians for preventative and corrective work to maintain equipment performance and facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing and administrative functions.
  • Monitor and investigate discrepancies with tools and materials in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Create requisitions for supplies and equipment necessary to complete preventative, corrective, and reactive service.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities, including scheduling, badging, and clearance to enter the plant.
  • Verify subcontractor times and charges are correct and manage building access.
  • Enforce all Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) safety and risk management policies and procedures, reporting accidents and injuries in a timely manner and identifying and correcting unsafe work conditions.
  • Attend training programs as designated and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Service contracting experience, including scheduling and facility management.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems background and experience with HVAC/R, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Facilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, present oneself in a highly professional manner, and understand the importance of honesty and ethics.
