Our proprietary software and analytical tools enable clients to reduce market cycle times while ensuring compliance with industry standards and achieving significant cost savings.
Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled candidates for the role of CAD Technician. The successful candidate will utilize AutoCAD to produce detailed drawings under the guidance of structural engineers and/or the CAD manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop modification drawings for telecommunications structures, including self-supporting towers, guyed towers, and monopoles. These drawings typically encompass tower profiles, assembly drawings, fabrication details, and bills of materials.
- Create modification drawings for existing foundations.
- Prepare drawings to address structural and maintenance issues identified in tower inspection reports.
- Generate or modify tower profiles, site plans, and collocation drawings for the installation of additional carrier equipment on telecommunication structures.
- Maintain a history of tower drawings using the established site folder structure.
- Review drawings produced by others as needed.
- Follow quality control procedures established by TES.
- Familiarity with steel structures, including angles, channels, pipes, and bolts.
- Basic experience with rebar and concrete.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and functional groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to complete tasks accurately.
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate degree or certificate in AutoCAD preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience with AutoCAD (2010 or higher preferred).
- Experience with telecommunication tower structures is a plus.
