About the Role

This role plays a critical part in the development and implementation of quality procedures, work instructions, and standards. As the primary contact for customer issues, you'll assist internal and external contacts in resolving product and process problems. You'll also serve as a problem-solving resource, initiating action to overcome obstacles and prevent potential quality issues. Additionally, you'll provide advice on product and data analysis, engage in comparative and competitive analysis, and utilize tools like SPC, DOE, and continuous improvement to reduce or eliminate problems. You may also supervise and provide work direction to other staff members.

Your Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent work experience in the automotive or quality sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, evaluate, and analyze internal or external data.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on both short- and long-term assignments.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills to prioritize, coordinate projects, manage conflicting needs, and deal with multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts and represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • Strong computer background with the ability to calculate and analyze data, generate reports, and present information.
  • Knowledge of technical processes such as PFMEA, PPAP, DCP, and root causes/problem solving.
