About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Facilities Management Department and other Support Service departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of facilities staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal use of facilities and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Provide training and coaching to facilities staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; degree in facilities management or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing facilities staff and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
