As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, your key duties will involve examining assembly drawings, accurately measuring materials, and cutting them to precise specifications. A collaborative spirit and the capability to juggle multiple fabrication tasks are vital for thriving in this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Welding of steel and aluminum utilizing MIG/TIG methods
  • Operating fabrication machinery and shop equipment
  • Ensuring accuracy by measuring dimensions of workpieces
  • Eliminating imperfections from workpieces
  • Assembling components to fulfill job specifications
  • Utilizing necessary equipment for various tasks
  • Adhering to directives from supervisors or leads
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Expertise in MIG/Light Gauge TIG welding
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and calipers
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings
  • Experience with metal shop tools
  • Basic understanding of electrical work and soldering
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
