We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Planning Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans, managing material requirements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Production Plans: Create detailed production schedules, bills of material, and capacity plans to meet customer demands and production goals.
  • Manage Material Requirements: Coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and components.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with functional departments to communicate program goals, objectives, and timelines, and to ensure effective coordination and execution of production plans.
  • Optimize Production Processes: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, operations management, or engineering.
