Job Description:

The Engine Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing critical disassembly, assembly, inspection, and testing of locomotive traction motor combo components.

You'll work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivering superior products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble locomotive traction motor combo components
  • Operate manual and automated equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes
  • Inspect work components to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation for completed processes
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen activities

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
