Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Life Sciences Product Specialist. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Histology. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sales, marketing, and product development within the Life Sciences division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and expand the sales of our Life Science-related products, including Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Histology instruments.
  • Gain proficiency in our PELCO BioWave product line to support development and customer engagement.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and share insights with the team.
  • Participate in the development of new Life Science products and collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
  • Generate comprehensive manuals and technical documentation to assist our customer base.
  • Manage product quotations and follow up with clients to drive sales.
  • Assist in forecasting sales for Life Science product categories.
  • Provide technical support to customers and dealers regarding Life Science inquiries.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows, representing the company effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on product applications and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical laboratory experience in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Histology.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, consumables, and sample preparation techniques.
  • Experience with ultramicrotomes, rotary microtomes, cryostats, and vibratory slicers is essential.
  • Knowledge in areas such as Pathology, Neuroscience, and Immunology is preferred.
  • Experience in Cryo Electron Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy is advantageous.
  • Public speaking experience and the ability to lead meetings are beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office technology is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows and client engagements.

This is a full-time position based in an office setting.
