Position: System/Network Administration 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of both classified and unclassified systems and networks in accordance with relevant MDA and DoD directives.
  • Ensure the operational readiness of IT systems and networks for all support and operational tasks.
  • Implement IT protocols and operations based on applicable MDA and DoD security guidelines, technical instructions, and documented procedures.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of user accounts, profiles, privileges, and overall network and system security.
  • Proactively identify potential IT issues and establish preventive measures.
  • Develop, maintain, and update documentation related to Information Technology processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular and on-demand system backups and recovery operations.
  • Maintain IT databases and perform programming tasks associated with system administration.
  • Research, assess, and propose new and emerging IT technologies to enhance and support program needs.
  • Assist colleagues engaged in system administration tasks.
  • Support the integration and testing of complex, large-scale networks.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with system administration tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively across all organizational levels, collaborating closely with project leads and team members.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a government-issued clearance.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Up to 5 years of pertinent work experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Secret Clearance.
