Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Sanmina Corporation. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, analyzing, and maintaining networks to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications.
  • Review monitoring tool reports to identify network deficiencies and faults, and take corrective actions.
  • Monitor network activity to sustain data throughput rates and maintain existing equipment.
  • Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve LAN, WAN, and Wireless communication problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure network operability.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including physical and logical integration, implementation, and management standards.
  • Manage support cases to ensure fast resolution and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of cases using the Company's ticket management tool and close within agreed time frames.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practices through the central document repository.
  • Support the wider team with knowledge sharing, via knowledge base communications, and contribute to team meetings.
  • Act as an escalation resource for On-call staff and junior team members.
  • Assist in preparing BOM and SOW for projects.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 7+ years of IT Network experience in a corporate environment preferred.
  • Current CCNA/CCNP track preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Extensive knowledge of Internet Protocols, switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, and SD-WAN.
  • Practical experience implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting switches and routers from Cisco, HP, and Dell platforms.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting security technologies and concepts with hands-on experience with Check Point Firewall and VPN implementations.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting wireless from Cisco and Aruba technologies.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting with SNMP-based management tools, such as Netflow and SolarWinds.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting large LAN and WAN environments.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting large data centers, virtualization technologies, and AWS/GCP cloud computing infrastructure will be a plus.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting WAN Acceleration, IP Routing OSPF, BGP, Policy-Based Routing, Access Control Lists, Traffic Classification, and QoS Implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Access Control systems such as Radius, TACACS, and NAC (ForeScout).
  • Experience implementing and maintaining SD-WAN technology, such as Versa, will be a plus.
