Job Overview

Position Objective: Deliver comprehensive support for equipment utilized in both workshop and field settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts all necessary maintenance on machinery as directed by the supervisor.
  2. Diagnoses and repairs diesel engine issues.
  3. Performs routine inspections to detect and rectify equipment failures.
  4. Implements modifications and repairs to both field and workshop machinery.
  5. Executes hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  6. Informs supervisor regarding parts procurement.
  7. Keeps detailed records of all work completed and updates the supervisor on progress.
  8. Provides assistance to superintendents with equipment-related challenges in the field.
  9. Travels to various job sites to perform scheduled or emergency maintenance on equipment.
  10. Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  11. Participates in the final inspection of all equipment prior to transport to job sites.
  12. Adheres to all safety protocols established by CROM Corp.
  13. Reports to work as scheduled, minimizing absenteeism.
  14. Notifies the supervisor of any late arrivals before the expected start time; excessive tardiness is not tolerated.
  15. Completes additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor and management.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

1-2 years of experience in machinery maintenance.

Additional Requirements:

Valid Florida Driver's License.

Forklift Certification.

Must possess and maintain all necessary tools for the role.

Work Environment:

Exposure to the elements typical of a mechanic's workshop.

Requires travel, including overnight stays outside the employee's home territory.

Exposure to hazardous materials and frequent loud noises.

Interaction with heavy machinery.

Typically works five days a week as per an approved schedule, with potential for overtime.
