Urban Development Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Development Liaison Specialist to join our team at the City of Moline. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development of community programs and initiatives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of community development projects. This includes working closely with local residents, businesses, and organizations to understand their needs and preferences.
You will also be involved in research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building relationships with diverse groups and ensuring that their voices are heard.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate community development projects and events
- Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions
- Develop and implement strategies to address community needs
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A degree in urban planning, community development, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $56,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
