About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fisheries Engineer to lead our team in delivering fish passage and aquaculture projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing teams of engineers and scientists, as well as assisting in business development and client management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams or subteams of engineers and scientists in the delivery of fish passage and aquaculture projects
  • Perform and/or manage structural, civil, mechanical, and hydraulic design tasks in support of fisheries engineering projects
  • Assist in business development and client management activities
  • Manage small to medium project teams of engineers, drafters, and project coordinators
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
Requirements
  • Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or Oregon
  • Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in fisheries and fish passage engineering or a closely related field
  • Must have experience working with clients, agencies, and contractors during the planning and construction of projects
  • Must have knowledge of standards and codes applicable to fisheries engineering and related disciplines
