We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fisheries Engineer to lead our team in delivering fish passage and aquaculture projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing teams of engineers and scientists, as well as assisting in business development and client management activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead teams or subteams of engineers and scientists in the delivery of fish passage and aquaculture projects
- Perform and/or manage structural, civil, mechanical, and hydraulic design tasks in support of fisheries engineering projects
- Assist in business development and client management activities
- Manage small to medium project teams of engineers, drafters, and project coordinators
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or Oregon
- Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license
- Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in fisheries and fish passage engineering or a closely related field
- Must have experience working with clients, agencies, and contractors during the planning and construction of projects
- Must have knowledge of standards and codes applicable to fisheries engineering and related disciplines
