CV Specialist III Interventional Radiology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist III Interventional Radiology to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during various procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, use PPE, and perform hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
- Identify and prepare patients using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure ordered.
- Exhibit awareness of hazards which may endanger patients and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
- Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
- Perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.
- Function effectively in clinical emergencies and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and medications.
- Produce an accurately written, promptly completed medical record for each patient based on the scope and complexity of the intervention procedure and patient clinical conditions.
- Maintain authenticity and security of the record and follow prescribed processes for amending documents.
- Perform effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice.
- Take call as rotated/assigned and respond (in hospital) per policy.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, X-ray Technology, or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, or Respiratory Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P).

- Electrophysiology Lab experience.
