As a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer, your primary focus will be on architecting, deploying, and overseeing Microsoft Azure-based infrastructures. Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design: Collaborate with diverse teams to create and implement scalable and secure Azure solutions. Conduct comprehensive requirement analyses, pinpoint potential challenges, and offer technical insights.
  • Infrastructure Deployment: Deploy and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage solutions, virtual networks, and databases, ensuring optimal configuration and security.
  • Service Integration: Seamlessly integrate Azure services with various systems and applications through APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions, ensuring reliable data exchange.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Establish and configure Azure monitoring solutions, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics, to oversee system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Security Implementation: Enforce security protocols to safeguard Azure resources, utilizing tools like Azure Active Directory and Azure Security Center, while staying informed on the latest security practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance Azure infrastructure and applications for scalability and high availability, conducting performance assessments and capacity planning.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and optimize Azure expenditures by improving resource utilization and implementing cost-effective strategies.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and deployment procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest Azure technologies and industry trends, providing insights for ongoing improvement of the Azure infrastructure.
Location and Travel:
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional onsite presence.
Security Clearance:
  • A Secret Clearance is mandatory for this position.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure engineering or a comparable role.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
  • CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent security certification.
  • Intermediate-level Azure certification or higher.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Database.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and security tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure Integration Services and development tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork aptitude.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting, particularly in PowerShell.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Bicep and Azure networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor and security best practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure Automation.
