Asset Protection Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Protection Associate to join our team. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Foster healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests, while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times, adhering to GOAT Group's uniform standards.
- Assist in reviewing POST Orders for assigned facilities and ensure that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced.
- Enforce facility-level IIPP Programs, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, and Fire Prevention Programs.
- Assist with access control compliance, visitor programs, and access card audits.
- Thoroughly examine and record logistics carrier information in accordance with CTPAT compliance standards.
- Complete opening and closing checklists and communicate findings.
- Support local management teams with planned and special events.
- Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy.
- Conduct thorough package inspections, including jackets and coats, anytime employees are exiting the facility.
- Monitor all surveillance cameras and document unlawful or suspicious activities.
- Review CCTV footage to document after-hours building opening and closing procedures.
- Assist in the process of evicting trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators while following legal protocols.
- Make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies, requiring good judgment both proactively and reactively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operations.
- Motivated and team-oriented individual with one or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred.
- Audit and compliance experience preferred.
- Ability to coach and train team members.
- Ability to confidently handle personal and/or sensitive information.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision.
- Planned and unplanned overtime may be required.
- CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required.
- Ability to work in a typical warehouse or retail environment, including dust, fluctuating temperatures, and extended time frames of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
