Job Overview

CloudHQ LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Manager to join our Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our data center facility, reporting to the Electrical Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operating and maintenance strategies to ensure continuous availability of critical systems
  • Develop and update preventative and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment
  • Develop procedures and maintenance checklists within our CMMS platform
  • Provide effective oversight of contract staff training content
  • Coordinate and inspect services performed by outsourced vendors
  • Manage costs and budgets associated with electrical infrastructure and operations
  • Maintain a diligent environment where policies and proven processes are upheld
  • Ensure best practices and standards are adopted and enforced
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts internally and externally
Requirements
  • Expertise in reading design Microsoft Office suite applications, preferably Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio or AutoCad
  • Proven written communication skills and technical writing skills
  • Complex problem-solving using analysis, and technical and organizational expertise
  • Identify industry trends and articulate implications that will have an impact on Data Center operations
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Extended hours may be significant at times
  • Ability and willingness to respond to emails after hours in the event of an emergency
