About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Associate Manager to join our team at MapLight Therapeutics. As a key member of our clinical operations group, you will be responsible for managing multiple investigator sites and ensuring the success of our clinical trials.

$85,000 - $115,000 per year

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires approximately 75% travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage Multiple Investigator Sites: You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and close-out visits for multiple investigator sites.
  • Ensure Study Quality and Compliance: You will ensure that all study-related activities are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical operations, medical monitoring, data management, supply chain, and clinical compliance and quality.
  • Travel Requirements: This role requires up to 75% travel, with occasional overnight stays.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-6 years of experience in clinical research; preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of GCPs, ALCOA+, and pertinent regulations; as well as experience working in a small/emerging biotech environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; with the ability to build relationships with investigators, site staff, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
