About the Role

The Accounting Supervisor position is a key business support role within the Plant Accounting and Management Team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This position will be instrumental in providing analytical insights to the leadership team to inform business decisions and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist the Controller in implementing and applying cost accounting policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Prepare various accounting statements and financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Support the Controller's efforts to implement and maintain internal controls at the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare assigned daily and monthly journal entries, analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, and support the local plant budgeting process for operational expenses and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Special Projects and Support: Assist in the preparation of actual vs. budget results for monthly and quarterly presentations, and support the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of directly related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred.
