Job Summary

BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is seeking a skilled PRN Infusion Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer infusion treatments and perform therapeutic procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Monitor patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team and family members.
  • Coordinate patient care activities and maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Provide education to patients and families on care needs and disease prevention.
  • Follow infection control measures and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with IV insertion, PICC lines, Port-A-Cath care, and dressing changes.
  • Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects, and potential toxicities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems that arise in IV therapy.
  • Exceptional standards of patient communication and care.
  • Proficient computer skills in Windows, Excel, and other related software.
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
  • Maintains continuing education in fields of nursing and infusion therapy.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current Florida driver's license, active insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • At least 1 year of recent medical surgical, home health, procedural, or critical care experience.
