Responsibilities- Administer infusion treatments and perform therapeutic procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team and family members.
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain accurate and timely records.
- Educate patients and families on care needs and disease prevention.
- Follow infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Florida.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with IV insertion, PICC lines, Port-A-Cath care, and dressing changes.
- Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects, and potential toxicities.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems that arise in IV therapy.
- Exceptional standards of patient communication and care.
- Proficient computer skills in Windows, Excel, and other related software.
- Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
- Maintains continuing education in fields of nursing and infusion therapy.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current Florida driver's license, active insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- At least 1 year of recent medical surgical, home health, procedural, or critical care experience.
- Competitive pay starting at $28.00 - $50.00 per hour.
