Mortgage Loan Coordinator

The Mortgage Loan Administrator plays a pivotal role in the mortgage lending process at Kalsee Credit Union. This position is responsible for supporting loan origination, processing, and closing, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional member service by addressing initial inquiries and offering information about the loan process.
• Collect and input customer information into the loan origination system, monitoring processing and regulatory guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between loan originators, processors, and underwriters to advance loans through the approval process.
• Address and clear underwriting conditions on loans in process.
• Assist the Mortgage Lender as needed.

Quality and Compliance:

• Set high standards for quality improvements and prioritize efforts to enhance department processes.
• Review all activities for compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act (RESPA).

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of financial institution experience, with lending experience preferred.
• Excellent member service and communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Driven to succeed.
• Possess a coachable spirit.
• Must be organized and able to manage a high level of loan activity.
• Must present a professional image and represent Kalsee Credit Union appropriately within the community.
