MEDICINE JOURNAL seeks a skilled Staff Healthcare Professional to join our team. As a Registered Care Provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization. About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective patient care by utilizing evidence-based best practices. This includes utilizing hand-off communication and bedside shift report to effectively communicate with other members of the healthcare team, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, performing and documenting comprehensive and holistic assessments, and developing a relationship with patients/families that facilitates mutual involvement in the planning of care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in population-specific mandatory education competencies and contribute to unit-based performance improvement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize hand-off communication and bedside shift report to effectively communicate with other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by understanding and complying with hospital policies/procedures, and identifying and communicating risks that have potential impact to patient safety
- Perform and document comprehensive and holistic assessments while interpreting and responding to abnormal diagnostic data
- Develop a relationship with patient/family that facilitates mutual involvement in the planning of care
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing and hold current licensure privileges to practice nursing in the state of employment. Prior experience in the delivery of patient care in a similar care setting is preferred. Additionally, you must be able to obtain BLS certification prior to starting work and maintain ongoing thereafter.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
