Job Summary:

A Healthcare Delivery Professional at Erlanger Health is responsible for practicing nursing according to the rules and regulations defined by the state's Nurse Practice Act. The nurse delivers patient care as assigned and supervises other qualified staff. They address physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of patients and coordinate the plan of care with other healthcare professionals. The nurse participates in patient safety initiatives and conducts job responsibilities according to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Erlanger Health.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver safe and effective patient care using evidenced-based best practices.
  2. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment by understanding and complying with hospital policies/procedures.
  3. Develop a relationship with patients/families that facilitates mutual involvement in the planning of care.
  4. Document in a concise, accurate, and complete manner reflecting adherence to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure privileges to practice nursing in the state of employment.
  • BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained ongoing thereafter.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
