About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Wallick Communities. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional nursing services, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
  • Lead and support a team of nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to identify and address departmental deficiencies, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure quality care is being delivered, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Train new nursing staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Assist with care plans and assessments, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Valid Ohio Nursing License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to make complex decisions, requiring a high degree of judgment and critical thinking.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
