Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' nutritional status and develop plans of care to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide quality patient care
  • Accurately identify and notify team and physician of necessary modifications to food, nutrient intake, and route of administration
  • Act as an informational and educational resource to nursing staff, medical personnel, patients, and their families
  • Participate in performance improvement and peer review activities
Requirements
  • Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian in the State of Illinois or be RD eligible
  • 1-3 years of experience in clinical nutrition
