Job Summary

Optimum Pain and Medical Spa is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Conduct routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements, and blood pressure checks.
  • Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
  • Assist physicians during examinations by handing over instruments and materials.
  • Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments, maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
  • Properly dispose of contaminated supplies, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Medical Assistant Certificate
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPR certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual speaking skills
  • Strong computer skills
