Job Title: Director, Enterprise Risk

Finastra USA Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Director, Enterprise Risk to lead our risk management efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic risk management plan that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across the organization.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management standards and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement risk management processes and controls to ensure the effectiveness of our risk management program.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to assess and communicate acceptable levels of risk.
  • Act as a champion for risk awareness and foster a proactive risk management culture.
  • Interact and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including audit, compliance, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Monitor emerging risks and advise stakeholders on appropriate courses of action.
  • Conduct risk assessments and validate exceptions to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise risk management, information security, audit, compliance, business resilience, and/or IT governance.
  • Proven experience in a financial institution, fintech, or risk advisory firm providing advice to the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge and experience with laws, regulations, guidelines, and frameworks within the financial services industry.
  • Regulatory savvy with experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in managing cybersecurity and IT risks, implementing strategies, and familiarity with current threat landscape.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, project management, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and develop relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, finance, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIA, CRISC.
